Do’s and Don’ts for Mixing and Producing Records and Movie Scores

Featured Guest: Tommy Vicari, a Grammy and Emmy award-winning engineer and producer, who has worked with Quincy Jones, Prince, Patrice Rushen, Jeffrey Osborne and George Duke. Mixing blockbuster movies like Finding Nemo, Wall-E, Iron Man, Revolutionary Road and many others, his record credits range from classic jazz to smooth pop and the hippest of R&B. Since 1996, Vicari has occupied that mixing hot seat: the live broadcast of the Academy Awards. Vicari will present examples of his engineering and producing skills, including some rare Quincy Jones material in 5.1, which will make for an extremely entertaining and educational session!
